A thriving Northamptonshire health and safety consultancy continues to grow its workforce, with another new hire across two departments.
The addition of Skye Paul as a fire and health and safety consultant brings the headcount to 19 at Acorn Safety Services, with six new starters in the same number of months.
Acorn Safety provides health and safety services to businesses, charities and organisations across the UK.
The team has seen exponential growth in the past two years, doubling the workforce with strategic hires across the business model, which sees three specialist experts heading up and managing their own divisions – Legionella, Fire Safety, and Health & Safety.
Syke is the first recruit to span two departments, with her role including fire risk assessments, health and safety audits, gap analysis, training creation and delivery and policy creation.
Previous to joining the ranks, Skye worked for Pure Gym for four years as a health and safety manager. She said: “I’m settling in really well at Acorn Safety, all the people are great and I’m enjoying the work.
“I’m enjoying experiencing different businesses and figuring out how I can help them improve safety management in their companies.”
Operations Director Zeynep Guzelkasap said: “Our growth has been strategic and organic to meet customer demand. It is important to us to build upon current knowledge but also encourage our team to expand their skillsets to broaden their understanding and capabilities.
“Skye is another brilliant addition to our rapidly expanding fire safety team and will also be part of the health and safety department with her extensive previous experience. She has hit the ground running, and we look forward to seeing her career progression with us.”
