At Acorn Safety Services our clients put their trust in us every single day.

We provide Health and Safety, CDM, Fire and Training services across the UK and as a fully independent and impartial company, our clients can always be confident that the advice and guidance they receive from Acorn will always be in their best interests.

The people our clients meet at Acorn Analytical Services are talented experts who love their work and our people do everything they can to be available when our clients need them.

So, we were thrilled to recently be nominated for the Best Customer Service award in the 2021 SME Northamptonshire Business Awards.

Receiving this nomination meant a great deal to us because this award recognises that customer service is an ongoing process and recognises businesses that ensure they exceed customer expectations before, during and after any work is carried out. It also celebrates organisations that develop long-term customer relationships and provide a service that is consistently outstanding.

The recipient of this award will be decided by the outcome of a public vote which closes on Thursday, August 26th.

We’d like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone who has voted for us so far. It means so much to us that so many of our new and long-standing clients have taken the time to vote for us and give us their support. There are a lot of fantastic businesses in the category so every vote will count and we’d ask anyone who hasn’t voted for us so far to give us their backing before the deadline – it takes only a matter of seconds to cast your vote!

The reason it means so much to us to be nominated for awards like this is two-fold. It tells us that our customers think we are doing a good job and appreciate our expert advice. It also helps us to raise our profile even further so that we can spread the news even further about the vital services that we provide.

It’s not an exaggeration to say that our team lives and breathes health and safety.

We work hard to help clients identify and solve all of their health and safety issues because we want to protect firms from the vast array of government health, safety and CDM regulations, keep their people safe and prevent them from being prosecuted from health and safety breaches.

Every day British firms are prosecuted by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) for health and safety breaches. Tragically, some breaches can lead to people being severely injured or losing their lives.

Successful prosecutions can see firms struggling to cope with huge fines and court costs and in some cases company owners and directors can also be fined or face custodial sentences for breaches. For some firms the damage to their reputation and their finances can be so great that they are no longer able to continue trading.

We don’t want to see anyone hurt. We don’t want to see any firms go out of business because of a health and safety mistake.

We are so committed to health and safety that we even offer a free health and safety review surgery with our leading health and safety expert John Crockett.

This gives businesses the chance to have a 30-minute video call with John so they can discuss and diagnose and health and safety compliance issues they may have. John will take them through our 20-point Health and Safety Compliance Audit which forms the basis of their complimentary compliance report. The report is designed to help firms identify where they’re hitting health and safety standards and where their business could be at risk.

In addition, we’ve have produced a free book called ‘Fear and Loathing of Health and Safety’. It reveals why the health and safety regulations are in place and shares top tips for finding the right health and safety consultant for your business. It also helps businesses to write their own health and safety policy with our step-by-step guide and includes the key steps needed to manage your asbestos safely.

These are just some of the ways that we go above and beyond to support our clients and deliver the highest standards of customer service.

So, if you’re a boss trying to juggle the day-to-day needs of your business and can see health and safety slipping off your radar don’t put yourself at risk – contact our expert team today.
