John Crockett
Health and Safety Manager
As the Health & Safety Manager based from Northampton, I head up and oversee all CDM consultancy and health & safety operations across the UK for Acorn.
I am an Incorporated Member of the Association for Project Safety, (IMaPS) and Specialist Member of International Institute of Risk & Safety Management (SIIRSM), where I am designated as a Registered Safety Practitioner (RSP).
Adam Midson
Legionella and Fire Manager
My name is Adam Midson and I am the legionella and Fire manager for Acorn Safety Services, based out of our Northampton headquarters myself and my team of consultants and I carry out legionella and fir risk assessments on a wide spectrum of properties across the UK and Europe. I work closely with our business manager Zeynep to schedule work as well as answer all the technical enquiries that our clients raise.

Business Manager
I am the business manager overseeing sales and operations for our health and safety, fire and legionella departments along with our other services. I will be one of the first people you speak to when you contact us.
I also am involved in business development and HR for Acorn.
Neil Munro
Director
I work in a dual role focused primarily on growing and leading the business from our Northampton office base. My focus is on overseeing all sales, marketing and financial activities from Northampton. I assist clients with high-level asbestos management strategies and training.
Together with Ian Stone I host our weekly podcast – Asbestos Knowledge Empire and I’m Co-author of Asbestos The Dark Arts and Fear and Loathing of Health and Safety.
Ian Stone
Director
I am based out of our Northampton office but regularly travel to meet with new and existing clients. I have assisted thousands of clients over the years on varying sized projects, several have been schemes totalling over one million pound spend purely on asbestos.
Together with Neil Munro I host our weekly podcast – Asbestos Knowledge Empire and I am Co-author of Asbestos The Dark Arts and Fear and Loathing of Health and Safety.
Paul Knights
Director
I work in a dual role focused on supporting the business from our Northampton office. My focus is main client account management, UKAS accreditation and compliance from Northampton.
I oversee the companies Integrated Management System ensuring compliance with our many ISO accreditations and certification.
I look after some of our largest corporate and public sector clients.
